National Medal of the Arts, 2015?

Back in 2012 I said that if I ran the National Endowment for the Arts I'd give the award to the
following:

Sid Caesar, Television pioneer and comedian (88 years old)
Gary Snyder, Poet (82 years old)
Toni Morrison, Novelist (81 years old)
Gordon Willis, Cinematographer (81 years old)
Oscar de la Renta, Fashion designer (80 years old)
Wayne Shorter, Jazz saxophonist (79 years old)
Philip Glass, Composer (75 years old)
Carollee Schneemann, Performance artist (72 years old)
Liza Minnelli, Actress and singer (66 years old)
Annie Leibovitz, Photographer (62 years old)

Now, since posting a few have died (Sid Caesar - 2014, Oscar de la Renta - 2014, Gordon Willis - 2014) and Toni Morrison, in 2012, got the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is as good, if not better. So the updated list would be:

Gary Snyder, Poet (85 years old)
Wayne Shorter, Jazz saxophonist (81 years old)
Philip Glass, Composer (78 years old)
Carollee Schneemann, Performance artist (75 years old)
Liza Minnelli, Actress and singer (69 years old)
Annie Leibovitz, Photographer (65 years old)

Now, the award is usually given to about 10 people (between 8-12). But, oddly, the last time the award was given was for 2013. Perhaps, this summer they will give out the 2014 Medals - they seem to do it rather late. (The Presidential Medal of Freedom is still being handed out, but it is much broader scope than the NEA's focus on the arts.)

So to round out the list of my surviving, unrewarded artists from 2012, I recommend the following additions:

Dick Van Dyke, Television pioneer (89 years old)
Julie Taymor, Director and costume designer (62 years old)
