Sandman Cast

I had to take a break from grading, and went ahead and made a cast for Neil Gaiman’s Sandman. 

Adrien Brody as Dream and Keanu Reeves as John Constantine (’cause I find that amusing. Also you could swap these two.) 

Lana Condor as Death and Janelle Monae as Desire (’cause Tilda Swinton’s too old and Bowie’s dead). 

Christian Bale as Destiny and Helena Bonham Carter as Despair. 

Jennifer Lawrence as Delirium and Idris Elba as Destruction (’cause Brian Blessed is too old).

Jon Hamm as Lucifer (I want to see Hamm blonde) and Letitia Wright as Nada. 

The Kindly Ones: Allison Janney, Octavia Spencer, and Alison Pill. 

Hob portrayed by Martin Freeman and Nicholas Cage as Doctor Destiny ‘cause who else can be that over-the-top crazy? 

Amanda Seyfried as Thessaly, and Debby Ryan as Rose Walker. 

Zac Efron as Orpheus and Aaron Eckhart as the Corinthian because he is. 

Cillian Murphy as Cain and Patton Oswalt as Abel (which would be such a hilarious oddball pairing I now really want to see it.)


So, maybe a trilogy? Part one getting back his powers and dealing with Hell, part two the Thessaly and Rose arc, and part three the Destruction arc? Or a mini-series. That would work.
